I cancelled my Bonus Card due to Annual Fee. Do you know what else is horrible? I use all services from the same bank. I paid many unfair fees, I paid many interest for the credit I used. I use 300 to 600 YTL every month. They have paid back that annual fee to many of my friends in my office. But they did not to me. So I cancelled it and need a new bank that can supply me a credit card without annual fee? Do you know any?

For credit cards that do not carry annual fee, the interest rate associated with them is likely to be higher than those with an annual fee. This makes sense, as the card companies want to offset their revenue loss from the annual fee by charging a higher interest rate. In fact, the gain from the higher interest rate can even be more lucrative than the annual fee alone.

However, there are still some benefits to owning such a card. If you are one of the minority of people who pay off the entire outstanding balance in full each month, a no annual fee credit card is actually going to do you a lot of good. There is no need to pay any additional fee to the card companies or go through the trouble of asking for a waiver of the fee at the end of the year. You can use the extra money for other purpose. Zorbey, I went through the same thing. I used to draw my salary from Garanti, and normally they shouldn't cut fee for the credit card, but they did many times. I used to go to the bank and they they used to correct their mistake by paying me the money back. But the last time, they cut the fee, and when I went to the bank, they said they couldn't do it directly from the bank anymore and that I had to wait for the Bölge Müdürlüğü to give confirmation. I waited for months! And nothing happened. I even wrote to the sikayetimvar.com to complain about them. The next day, Garanti called me and said they were working on fixing the mistake. Six months passed and nothing happened. They also paid my co-workers' money back. Meanwhile, I changed my job, and I no longer draw my salary from Garanti, so I closed my bank and credit card account altogether. But they ripped me off!! I think I'll never use Garanti anymore. Thieves!
