Me and two friends are wanting to go to Europe next summer, however we are unsure of the real cost of the trip IN Europe. I am not worried about the plane ticket. I am just wondering if someone can tell me about how much money I need in order to travel throughout Europe(Eurail), food, pubs, hotels/some hostels, and such for 14 days.

I am looking for hostels in Madrid, Paris, Rome and Athens that would be suited to a 30+ solo woman traveller who is not interested in the party scene. Close to the main attractions would be great but I am not worried about transit. Looking for budget but clean and safe are a must. Thank you for your help.

I have been searching online but I don't know what is realistic... From the amount of money I will need, to details about the Railpass, to how many countries I can realistically see ... I would like to see as many places as I can and then go back later in life to further explore everything ... if you are willing to help I will give you my email address or aim screenname ... thanks

I travel in the winter time for 3-4 months every winter. I run a landscape business and stay very busy during the months between middle March and midde November, and do not have really ANY social life much during this time.

I want to meet friends and possibly a girlfriend overseas, but when I travel, I always find myself a bit lonely and difficult to meet people for long term relationships.

What are the best ways to meet , especially a girlfriend you think, in for example , Europe? (if going there)

p.s. I was thinking, if i could take a class or something , like an art class it would be nice , but I really think that would be expensive. but I am thinking of picking a selected city/town to visit and staying in one place (area) for the full 3-4 months this time, instead of traveling around a lot.(as it is interesting, but kind of tiring as well, and lacks depth or appreciation sometimes)

Thanks for you answers !

I'm going to Spain this upcoming summer! Yes, I know, it's pretty far away still, but I'm very excited and I'm already planning.

What should I wear, do, etc. to not look like a tourist? I want to blend in with their culture as much as I can.

I'm spanish, so Im from europe. Some people told me that I have to say that Im european when I stay in USA, because If I say "im spanish", the most of the people will think that Im from mexico, guatemala, or somewhere like that.
A friend, who speak english very well, told me that the people from Spain( Europe ), is called spaniar. Its true¿

What do you think about the people from Spain(EU)

american people despise the Spanish people¿

I'm borried about that 'cause I dont want to feel the same sperience like south american people who come to spain

Gracias(thanks )

I want to drive around europe in January of the new year. Milage wise, i have no idea how much time on the road this will involve. What regions I could probably manage/experience or where the best place to start would be. Do hire cars companies let you drop of in other countries so I don't have to make the return journey? etc

Has anyone got any tips, or warnings. I'm plan to flyout from London to Country A and return from country Z.

I am looking for a job in Frankfurt.

Ideally i would find a company that would train me to become an Accountant. However, i would consider other types of office work.

I have intermediate German ability so, for the next few months, would prefer an english speaking job if possible?

any ideas?

Me and a couple of friends are planning on taking a trip to europe for about 2 weeks, do you think 3 thousand dollars would be enough for each person, including roundtrip ticket, food, eurail pass, shelter, and pub money? And what are hostels like? Is it like community showers, and everyone in the same room?

I'd like to go overseas for six months to a year or so. I'd like to go to another country with my family (husband, wife, two kids) and live while gainfully employed. I'm an English teacher w/ a Ma in instructional technology.

I'd like to try a European country b/c I think the culture shock wouldn't be as great as, say, an asian country. It seems that all the job postings are for third world countries and I don't think we're ready for that.

It is possible? Are there legit agencies?
any ideas?
