What are the best European resorts for snow in early November?

My husband and I are looking for a 5 night break somewhere cold and snowy has anybody any ideas???

Check with the local tourist board wherever you go, most European ski resorts do not have snow that early in the season.
I would bet on Scandinavia, but I am not sure about them either.
