And I mean REALLY fictional, not some actor or actress acting a certain part.

I have had crush on Sherlock Holmes, but I'm not really sure if it isn't actually a crush on Jeremy Brett, the "ultimate" Holmes. Of course, I've had a crush on Mr.Darcy, but things changed after I saw Colin Firth and the new Darcy on tv and screen.

So. Any other weirdos than me?

I've won a luxury European weekend break for two - woohoo! It's all expenses paid and includes a 5* hotel, posh meal and spending money.

There's a small choice of destinations but I've narrowed it down to two: Venice or Barcelona. Which would you recommend and why?

Unfortunately I have to take the wife with me, so no begging to come along please ;-)

Thanks!

On 11 May, 1964, six Turkish Cypriots were kidnapped from work, home etc., taken to a place called Protaras, near Famagusta in Cyprus. They were shot dead and buried in a well. Their families waited for decades. They had children, little babies, who do not remember their fathers. After 43 years their bones were found. After DNA tests, identified and given to their families. One of those daughters who was 7 months old at the time happens to be my best friend. I was at the funeral this morning.
I believe Tasos Papadopoulos knew all about this and was at least partly responsible for it. Does he feel any pain or guilt?
Similar events are taking place on both sides of Cyprus. Isn't it enough that people have suffered such pain? When are we going to learn to live together?

On sept 19th around 9:00 pm I will be in the Rome airport (FCO) and need to get to Ravello in the Amalfi coast that night. The Euro train has a last train at 9:50 and that might be cutting it close. Trains? Shuttles? Cheap drivers? Any suggestions?

Hi there. I was supposed to go to Europe from August 310- Sept. 16th, but I may have ti push back my trip a week, so now it would be from Sept. .5 till the 23rd. however, I am a 23yr old female, solo traveler, and I'm worried that If I wait that late into the summer there won't be alot of other young travelers there, staying in the hostels, partying, etc. I want to meet a lot of people since I will be there by myself! I plan on going to Paris, Barcelona, Ibiza, and Rome. Has anyone ever been there during this time and are my worries accurate or will there still be tons of young travelers?? Thank you.
