The best connection is to depart Geneve at 7.45 pm, train to Zurich, arr. 10.30, change to night train from Zurich to Vienna,
dep. 10.40 pm, arr. next a.m. at 9.29

There are trains every 30 minutes from Geneva to Zurich throughout the day, so you could leave Gen. earlier so you'll have more then 10 minutes to change trains.
Trains leave Geneve at 45 after and 14 after the hour pretty much all day, and the trip is 2 hrs. 42 mimutes.
