i was invited to go to england france and italy with the people to people high school program, and i was wondering about how much it will cost. if you have any other info that you think i should know, i would really appreciate that as well.

Betcha ya didn't realize how smart you were, or did they say you were from a select group nominated by a teacher or coach? While this is a legitimate travel agency, they use tactics to make you think that you are being honored by them. If you can swallow that the letter is a front for their sales pitch, go for it.
I know of two families who sent their kids on these trips. Both had safe trips. Both families said that they really paid a lot for the kid's time there.
If you have access to a hopping Adventurers Club (thru Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts), they have some sweet trips that don't have to cost a bundle.
Another way to get to travel is to do some mission work, whether it be through a church or civic organization.

go to the teacher who leads the group and ask him. see if he can give you some ideas of how much it costs. you can also ask him to see if anyone who has already used the program is willing to talk to you about it. theres nothing like getting info from someone that has experienced the same . good luck and have fun.
