I'm planning this years christmas party for about 30 people, which in your opinion is the better place to go -- Prague, Budapest or Warsaw we are flying from the N.E of England.

My fiance has asked me which country in Europe I would want to move to. The only international language I speak is English, though he is fluent in English and French. I don't think I want to be in the UK, and seems like every other European country has a national language.....Is there at least one country out there that has English as a second language? Help!!

well i wanted to ask this question because ı'm interested in Turkish people's point of view

so here is my story and I'm expecting your answer and comments on it:

as some of you maybe know, I'm a dancer. I also teach people at dance studios.
my familt is not really pleased with it, because you know how people think when you tell them that you are a dancer. they think that you are kind of easy to get, a cheap girl.
but anyway i love dancing and i like any job that includes shoe business.
after one of my dane performances, someone from a known ( at least some people know) modelling agency offered me a job, as a model
he said that i have almost all the characteristics to be a model.
i would accept this if i were alone
but now I'm not sure, because of my parents. I'm 99% sure that they won't let me. and i can partly understand them
i also have no experience as a model but he said that i can learn.

I have a friend who moved to Greece after high school, about 15 years ago...we kept in touch for a few years via letters and then lost touch...and now, in the world of internet, I'm wondering if I can find her after all this time (and she might have married). Any suggestions??

"too touristy" - cheap gift shops every two feet selling touristy crap, tourists outnumber the locals, a general unauthentic feel to the city.

just thought i would clarify whaat i mean't by touristy. i was thinking about traveling to prague but i have a friend who told me it's so overrun by tourists and that it's not even worth the trip. what are your opinions. help is greatly appreciated!

The only language I speak fluently is English, and I know no Dutch whatsoever. For my upcoming trip to Amsterdam I have a choice between waiting for my Dutch-fluent mother to arrive four hours behind me at the airport or to take the train and find the hotel by myself. Can I count on there being enough English signs and English-speakers to get around, or should I bring a Dutch phrasebook with me?

I don't understand...For me, it's not normal !!

Logically turkish governement must trust Muslims, and must be more suspicious about non-Muslims !!!

Why are you not loyals with your brothers? We are MUSLIMS...

What does Allah think of this injustice, do you know?...

I'm sad...

I asked a visa, twice, for going to Turkey as a tourist, but the turkish consulate refused ( and they didn't even explained me the reason !)
But when a French or a American comes, you welcome him with smiles and drinks, whitout even asking him visa.

WHY ?

What is it like there and what drugs Are legal there?

Thank you.

I'm having a hard time with part of my research for a project:

What is needed by Greece (in regards to imports/exports) that could be provided by the US? I've done much research, but I haven't been able to find something that Greece can benefit from. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know if there's something Greece can offer in return?

I'm having a very difficult time finding this information...
