I don't understand...For me, it's not normal !!
Logically turkish governement must trust Muslims, and must be more suspicious about non-Muslims !!!
Why are you not loyals with your brothers? We are MUSLIMS...
What does Allah think of this injustice, do you know?...
I'm sad...
I asked a visa, twice, for going to Turkey as a tourist, but the turkish consulate refused ( and they didn't even explained me the reason !)
But when a French or a American comes, you welcome him with smiles and drinks, whitout even asking him visa.
WHY ?

It seems you have misguided opinions as to why there is something called visa. Trust Muslims? But some Muslims bombed places in Istanbul. So, religion can't be a factor.
I personally have no opposition to you as a tourist, as an immigrant or as a foreign worker. You should ask the consulate why they refused, or what else is needed for a visa. We face the same problem when we are trying to go to other places, so there's no need to be upset. That's the way of the world, just or not.
And last, never mind the racists. You don't meet many of them here.

Hi. Filipinos are allowed entry without visa to the following countries (the one i know and have been to without visa); All ASEAN member countries e.g. Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia except Myanmar. Hongkong and Brazil. Other countries like Germany, Korea and Austria don't require visa if you are using official (red) passport. These are only the countries that i know (because i have been there) but i'm pretty sure there are more. Goodluck.

First of all Turkey is a laic country and in Turkey there are many religions. Turkish Government is not Islamic. You can not have a different treatment just because you are a Muslim.
However Turkey doesn't ask very complicated documents and Turkey helps a lot of people whose countries are in a war etc... I am sure if you complete your documents you will be able to get your visa.

Most Turks may be Muslims, but Turkey is a secular country, and proud of it; as far as to whom they issue visas, Turkey has the right to approve or disapprove whoever they want, like any other country. Allah's got nothing to do with it, nor does religion in general--Allah doesn't stamp your passport, nor does he determine what your intentions for visiting a foreign country are. Most Europeans and Americans who visit Turkey are merely tourists--short-term visitors... and they bring much-needed income to Turkey's tourist industry and overall economy. They also keep Turkey's ties with Europe and the West strong, which helps, since Turkey's been trying to become a member of the EU for quite a long time. What possible benefit would it be for Turkey to abandon its secular government, turn the clock backwards 400 or 500 years, and become a third-world pariah? It wouldn't help Turks get or keep jobs, help with Turkey's trade (import and export), and it sure as hell wouldn't make it much of a tourist destination if Turks were as hostile to Westerners as so many other Muslim countries are. Their secular government allows them to participate with the rest of the civilized world while still allowing the majority of Muslims in the country to practice their faith as they will--as well as people who AREN'T Muslims. Non-Muslims have a right to follow their faith, too, you know. Allah hasn't leveled Ankara with lightning bolts yet, so the Turks must be doing something right.

Basically, religion should not be a basis in visa approval. Also, there are countries who has a treaty on allowing their nationals to travel to their country without any visa.
Another factor, was the history of persons coming from a certain country. If these nationals have a background of overstaying in that country, you cannot blame visa approving officers of being strict in issuing visas. Visa consulates are not required to state the reason for denying a visa

This has nothing to do with religion or ethnic origin. The reason why Turkey does not ask for a visa from EU citizens is that, they would not want to settle in Turkey since they have better conditions in their countries. Most Muslim countries on the other hand have bad economies and their citizens come to Turkey hoping to find a job. There are lots of illegal immigrants and illegal workers in Turkey. Turkey's economy cannot sustain this.
As for being 'brothers' with other Muslims, Turkey has every reason to doubt that. So many Muslim countries, mainly Arabs, have stabbed Turkey in the back in WW I and later in international politics. They have not shown any solidarity with Turkey. One example is the Cyprus conflict. Most Muslim states did not support Turkish Cypriots. Why would Turkey show them friendliness?

Because they are poor and when they come to Turkey they don't leave, because Turkey is a wonderful country. They immigrate here illegally and they earn money illegally without giving any taxes to the government. That's why we don't let them enter Turkey without visa.
European and American people come here as a tourist, they go on a hotel, visit Turkey's must see's and they return to their country.it's not related with the religion.
Hope that helps.

well.. Ask the same question to Saudis, to Syrians.. to Jordanians..
they won't allow you IN without visa either.
But you dare to ask this question to Turks.. WHY?????
What is your purpose of visiting Turkey in the first place?
Apparently the Turkish consulate officials observe something suspicious in your situtation... A crime record may be?
AND WHY you insist on going to a country where you cannot get a visa?
If your purpose is to get together with your Muslim brothers, go to Afghanistan.. they'll happily embrace you ..

Try to understand that it is not a question of religion, and this, in all countries, not only in Turkey, but it is a question to cpontrol the immigration and to protect the borders.A european will go to Turkey without visa, because his cost of living is higher, and he ll not need to immigrate. He ll go for holidays or for business..
But people from other countries, have to present visa, in order to be controlled for immigration reasons, national reasons etc...And it is not Turkey which imposes this, it is in every country. You ll see it everywhere..
So, it is not a question of religion, it is financial the reason..
