Is finding job there easy as a master degree student?
Hows the cost of living?
What jobs are most paid there?
What are the inexpensive hobbies there that one can enjoy?
Is riding bike and commuting with bike common there?
And how is the weather most of the time?
(ps:Is there any overland way besides ferries to commute between Victoria and Vancouver?)

I am going to be going to Vancouver and Victoria for a few weeks soon. I live in Winnipeg and have mildly dry skin (as long as I put moisturizer on after a shower I am totally fine) and I am wondering if I will need to worry much about this. I have been to Orlando, Florida and I didn't need to put on moisturizer due to the relatively humid climate, and I am wondering what the humidity in Southwestern BC is like compared to Florida and Winnipeg.

I'm going to graduate next year and i'm planning to go to Canada. Well...i've never been there..
I checked out University of Victoria in the website... i think it's a pretty decent uni, but is it hard to apply/ get into? I heard it's one of the best uni in Canada.
...And what's happening around Victoria?
Is it a good place for students? Uhhh...Is it a safe place to hang around?
Any recommendations..? Thanx.

I am afraid of height and can not drive on a highway which is edged on a cliff. Driving between Nanaimo to Cathedral Grove, are there any parts of the road edge on a cliff?
I have no problems driving on a bridge though.
I am also planning to drive from Victoria to Nanaimo, do you think I will be ok?
Thanks.

I am interested in chartering a plane to take me from Seattle or an airport near Seattle to Victoria BC. Time is an issue so I'm more interested in the shorter flight then taking the Victoria Clipper.
