Undersea gardens is a good one, also Butchart gardens on saturday nights in the summer for the best firework shows

Also if you can afford it, whale watching is incredible. There are about 30 different whale watching companys. They all guarantee whales, but some are better then others.
The Prince of Whales is like the McDonalds of whale watching. It has comfortable boats, but the people that work there don't really care about their job.

I've been on several of the tours and Eagle Wing is by far the best, the fastest boats, the best tours, microphones that go under the water so you can hear the whales, you also stop to see seals, eagles, birds and other wildlife along the way.

This is a great site about whale watching in general in Victoria

Victoria has lots to do. Most attractions age isn't really an issue. More dependent on your tastes, time of year, free time you have, type of group (traveling alone, with your wife, or with the boys?) and price tag.

Hang out at the Parliament buildings and the Inner Harbour

Royal British Columbia Museum, Wax Museum, Car Museum,

Buchard Gardens

Whale Watching Tours, Fishing Tours

To the last post...the car museum hasn't been here in at least 5 years, maybe longer so you're a little out of date.
Undersea gardens is the biggest waste of money out there, closely followed by minature world.
The wax museum is pretty good but the royal bc museum is the best museum i have ever been to.
Butchart gardens is beautiful but you have to fight the crowds. Craigdarroch Castle is good, it's rare to see a big castle in the middle of town. Try touring some local wineries, or head over to Saltspring Island and check out their market. Sidney has a great night market in the summer months.
Or just beachcomb and take walks in the historic neighbourhoods. If you're going to pick one thing go to the museum...don't waste your money on the rest.

Apart from the Car museum there's not much for anyone under 60. Victoria is unashamedly a town for the geriatrics.
