Last time I heard government figures on the subject Victoria had the lowest unemployment rate of any major Canadian city INCLUDING Edmonton and Calgary. I am SO tempted to move back, but I don't know if I really trust it. There's a reason they call it the city of the "newly wed and nearly dead" after that there's just government workers and when things aren't so sh*t hot economicly, that can be a really tough market to make a living in.
