I am afraid of height and can not drive on a highway which is edged on a cliff. Driving between Nanaimo to Cathedral Grove, are there any parts of the road edge on a cliff?
I have no problems driving on a bridge though.
I am also planning to drive from Victoria to Nanaimo, do you think I will be ok?
Thanks.

No, you'll be fine. The Malahat lookout porition is closed so you don't have to drive near a cliff anymore. The driving is further in and lower down. You have a chance to take a couple turn offs and go look at the view from the cliffs, but I guess that wouldn't interest you. Nanaimo to Cathedral is fine though. I'd normally suggest going out to Tofino, but that drive is pretty much all on the side of a mountain, narrow and dangerous so if you don't like that, stay away from Tofino!! Good luck and have fun, oh and Welcome!

I think you might have problems driving from Victoria to Nanaimo. The portion of the highway known as the Malahat is pretty high up. The views are spectacular, but if a cliff is going to bother you, you won't be enjoying it. If you are travelling with someone, see if they will drive that portion.
