any english men marry taiwanese girls in taiwan? pls advise and share the experience with me regarding what documents to prepare to take to taiwan? do those documents cost a lot?

Is it 25/08/2007-01/09/2007 suitable to visit taipei? if i not mistaken there might have typhoon during that time. Is that high percentage to have typhoon? Is it summer sales season during that time? Is that mean the wufenpu should have sales also?

Or maybe June more suitable travel to taipei? raining season? is that spring sales during June? My main concern is the weather & season sales.

I hope to have a wonderful trip with my girl friend, hope you can help me up. Thank you.

I have to make a stopover in Taiwan, and I am trying to decide whether to stay at a hotel near the airport for convinience, or a cheaper place in the city. Also, if it is easy to get to the city, are there any cheap ($20 and less range) places that you can recommend?

It is just not comportable. And freaking hot! I hardly see people who has differnt material sofa or couch whatever.

Humidity or heat... with leather funitures??

What about bamboo stuff??

I have quite nicefull furnished house with 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. I am happy with it.
(I living in a flat but I like Taiwanese houses with several stories. I think it is great.)

But I JUST can't sit on leather sofa. It is very uncomfortable. Is it because just not comfortable one I have? Or do you feel that way too??

I am considering making a cotton fabric covers for sofa for this summer...

Give me your idea please~!

I mean, it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that Taiwan could not have possibly ALWAYS been part of China. There were people there centuries before the first Chinese immigrants and even the Chinese immigrants were seen as deserters by their own country. China only had direct control over the island for about 15 years (by the Manchus who weren't even Chinese) while Japan colonized it for 50 years and it's been defacto independent for the past 60. So why are they so obsessed with gaining a land the has never been under the control of an ethnic Chinese Mainland government. I know it's politics but why specifically Taiwan
