How much Japanese do you? How long have you been learning Japanese? Do you find it difficult or easy to learn Japanese. I'm learning Japanese but don't know much.

We are traveling during a Japanese holiday and Kyoto is packed. Any ideas of hotels in a town/city close by, preferably on the way to Tokyo.
We only have 2 days to see Kyoto. What are the highlights?
Thanks.

I'm off to Tokyo this friday, but since its almost gonna be a rush hour and I will be jetlegged, I"m thinking of taking a taxi from Narita to Tokyo. How expensive can it be?
Also, if anyone has any suggestions about some decent (not too expensive) hotel in Tokyo, please let me know (soo many webistes but not really any trustworthy reviews). I will be probably staying in Tokyo for 2 or 3 days only...
Best regards,
L.

I hear that tabi boots are becoming more popular in Japan. They are used by construction workers, but are now being used more by civilians. Would they be cool as regular American street footwear? I'm a male and really want to get a pair but if I do, I don't know if I should wear them to school. I want to start a trend, but I don't know what others would think. Is it like this in Japan?
