Not Gwen Stafani's 'Harajuku Lovers'. I mean like really cute but crazy Harajuku clothes from Japan? For Western sizes, of course. Thanks!

God Bless!

I am embarking on a 2 week trip to Tokyo in about a month and a half with three people who are 25 or older (the oldest is 31). I am 19. I was wondering what the drinking age is in Japan and how stricty it's enforced on foreigners.

I want to translate the Japanese text to English between the times 00:30 and 02:11.

Please, there are 8 different texts, and they appear at intervals.
To save you the trouble here are the times when they 'appear' ,
in minutes and seconds (mm:ss) ;
00:30
00:40
00:53
01:00
01:25 (this one vague and blurred, if you cant get it no worries)
01:50
02:07

when you answer reffer to these numbers so I no which one you are talking about.
thanks a alot :)

I find this very stupid for foreigners to think the Japanese are some cartoony joke. They only go to Japan because they're only interested in Anime and video games. These people need to get a dang life learn about the Real Japan.

Hi!

I'm planning on a trip to japan next year (spring) along with my partner - he's into cars old and new. Need local insight on the car scene and if there are any drift or racing tracks we can visit, preferably in tokyo.

Or what nights do the guys and girls hoon (race) around the streets if there is a particular night (like in Wgtn, NZ it's Thu and Fri..)

Any other tips re: tokyo and the car scene - much appreciated!

What opinion do you have on this? Do you find it fair that X Japan is reforming and becoming a band again? Or do you believe as a fan it is a wonderful thing that is happening. Or do you think Noise/X/X Japan should be left in the past? My opinion stands as Yoshiki should continue with his own path, X can never be the same as he wanted it to be, so let it go..

I'm going to see Guns N' Roses (hold in Makuhari Messe) in Chiba, Tokyo on 14th April. I'll stay in Tokyo less than a week.

1. I really need a cheap hotel, I'm not there forsightseeing, that's why.

2. and I don't mind if someone wanna go with me or share the accomodation fee with me, well, just a thought.

Any advices?

Hi everyone! I will be going to Japan next week for an intended 4 day stoppover.. and was wondering if you could feed my naive mind some basic Japanese. The only and most important one I know is ''arigato'' I will be on my own, and will have to interact with others. Any basic terms and tips or links you could shoot my way would be great!

eg. How are you? , Your country is beautiful, I am from Canada, et cetera..

i thought about going on a trip to japan. i really didnt want to go to tokyo becase it is severly crowded, and everyone goes there. but then again, the kansi dialect of osaka or kobe might make it even harder to converse with the populace. also, would it be cheaper to go with a small group (2-3 people) or a larger one (6-8), and about how much money would you suggest be brought for food? any advice is greatly apreciated.

Native Japanese speakers if possible :0)

'Puto ga arimasu. Watakushi wa aiyatsu ri miyoka kira desu. Dokida shimasu.'
I know Puto isn't a word in Japanese, so maybe I'm hearing it wrong? The link to hear it is- http://members.tripod.com/~frizzy_2/ (see japanese.wav- about halfway down the screen).

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Sometimes I like asking questions that people never ask. This, of course, is a variation of the "best place/city to travel in Japan" questions that are so common.

So, which city/cities are the worst for you?
