I would guess that in Japanese the person said:
何とも言えない、だって、そうかもね。
Translation:
I can't really say anything about that, because it might be true.
or
I'm not really sure, but it could be that way.
Without a context, It is hard to get the exact translation.

It sounds like what Japanese say when they're not sure of something. It's kind of like. "I can't really say, but hey, it's possible" *not a literal translation

I think it's "nantoMo ienai..."
if so, it means "I can't say anything (or I can't tell) 'cause it might be so."
