What opinion do you have on this? Do you find it fair that X Japan is reforming and becoming a band again? Or do you believe as a fan it is a wonderful thing that is happening. Or do you think Noise/X/X Japan should be left in the past? My opinion stands as Yoshiki should continue with his own path, X can never be the same as he wanted it to be, so let it go..

My opinion is it's just music and I really, really don't care what celebrities/musicians do to get money so long as it doesn't end up conflicting with me. (And this isn't.)

From Yoshiki's POV; he has to make a living, so I can't really blame him for using a band name he has the rights to if it helps sell CDs and concert tickets. It's not his fault Hide chose to leave us, and it's not just about the talent in the band. I'm sure everyone from the record company executives to the roadies, to the T-shirt sellers would love to see a new X Japan. Maybe that's crass, but that's show business.

I'd say the same for INXS; they could play the Holiday Inn lounge under a new name, or get a new lead singer and play stadiums again. What would you do?

I'm with you! It's over for XJapan. I wouldn't be opposed to a reunion tour, but getting back together officially seems a little desperate. Yes, a 10-15 city reunion tour would bring in the masses, and you don't even need new material. But after the tour, part ways.
