I'm going to see Guns N' Roses (hold in Makuhari Messe) in Chiba, Tokyo on 14th April. I'll stay in Tokyo less than a week.

1. I really need a cheap hotel, I'm not there forsightseeing, that's why.

2. and I don't mind if someone wanna go with me or share the accomodation fee with me, well, just a thought.

Any advices?

A capsule hotel is a hotel system of extremely dense occupancy. Guest space is reduced in size to a modular plastic or fibreglass block roughly 2 m by 1 m by 1.25 m, providing room to sleep and little more, although facilities usually include a television and other electronic entertainment. These capsules are then grouped and stacked, two units high. Luggage is usually stored in a locker away from the capsule. Privacy is maintained by a curtain at the open end of the capsule but noise pollution can be high. Washing facilities are communal and there are often restaurants, or at least vending machines, and other entertainment facilities.

You could try the youth hostels in Idabashi or Yoyogi. The Idabashi one is in a high-rise right in front of Idabashi station and has a lovely view of Tokyo. There is another one in the former athlete's village from the Tokyo Olympics (but since updated!). You are only allowed a maximum of three nights at any one hostel, so between the two you should be good.

OR, you could stay in MANGA-KISSA(Manga-cafe). It is not only for Anime people, but for everyone. It is also easy to find them around Tokyo. I don't know much about Makuhari area though. Most of Manga- Cafe offers Night Pack which cost about 1500yen and you can stay there from midnight to early morning like 6am. If you choose Manga-cafe, you should make sure that they have "flat type" space, so you don't have to curl up to sleep.
