Do they carry it on their backs to a nearby city and sell it there? Does someone come around and buy it from them? What goes on in there?

Why some Chinese drivers have special privileges, such as drivers for:
-military cars
-police cars
-embassy cars
Why they can go against traffic, run red lights, turn left from right lane, park anywhere they like, and police never do anything.

I am travelling to Kyoto from feb. 13-21. I will be staying in a hotel, myself and my two children under the age of 6. I am planning to bring 300,000 JPY with me for food and bus transportation, but most of my activities are already paid for. Will this be enough money?

Hello,

I am planning to stay in Bangkok (or Bangkok area) from 1st February, 2008 till 27th May, 2008.

I have been researching and looking around for a while, but there is SO much information, and it differs a lot. So I decided to ask you guys here.

My goal is to find the cheapest option for my plan:

- Live 3 months in Bangkok (or the area);
- Access to the Internet;
- To be sure that my stuff won`t get stolen from my home;
- A gym fairly close;
- Not-complicated access to the city center.

That`s all I need. Maybe someone of you will know the particular place?! What type of accomodation I should look for (maybe apartment)?

And...

- As I`ve heard that in Bangkok there are available very high quality formal suits for real bargain prices, where should I look for such a place?

Thank you everyone.
Thank you

I currently taking some prerequisite courses here n da US but then yea u know some students don't pass one subject, then if you pass at least C u can go up to the next level but if u dont pass it, well u have to take it again next semester. I think it is so hard as a non native speakers. Low to the advance level subject in order to go to the Program that you really want to take it. Is it the same stuff in the Philippines? I heard most filipino - american who wants to go back to the Philippines, they want to study there b cuz they said it is easy, and dont have a so much time to repeat some classes next semester. I thank god to my friend because, he wants to study there for 1 yr ( Nurse LVN), so he doesnt want to take any prerequisite courses there.

money, It's acceptable if your husband took care of everything, he cooks a nice meal for you (breakfast, lunch, dinner) he took care of the kids, he mops the floor, clean the dishes, do the laundry and etc. You work while he manage the house.

Hi!
We are planning to go for scuba diving from Japan, where we plan to go over the new year.
The candidate places are Okinawa, Guam or Saipan which all are up to 3 hours away.

We are really interested to go to Okinawa, but
1. I read Japanese dive shops might not have large size wetsuit for my partner (>180cm).
2. I understand the language but not my partner.

Is it better to go to guam, saipan where he also can communicate(English)? Also the water seem warmer there....

I still think our first option is Okinawa so I need to be convinced.
Has anyody been diving in Okinawa (maybe on one of the american diveshops in Oki where they might have L size gear?)? What did you like? Which of the islands in Oki should I go for? Is January too cold?

Many questions... I hope I get many answers!

I was born in HK but moved to Canada in the 90s. My family often said Canada is a great country with laws, benefits, and jobs blah.

So, my mom became a "cleaning lady" earning 8$/h. She worked so long that her left arm was injured and couldn't work anymore. The canada health care doesn't support therapies. She also had to go to a dentist which cost her 800$!

So me and her went back to Hk last year to treat her arms. Everything was so cheap in HK. Granted, HK is crowded, not as good air quality, but it is fun, fast pace, and full of life.

The dental fee was so cheap in HK, and the massage for her arm to. I kept asking her, why the hell did we come to Canada ?! She kept telling me it is a great country. Well, if it is so great, then why were you a cleaning lady and we can't afford for medical care?
And why are we living in a 3 bedroom apartment instead of a house? I gotta leave this prison. I am 27, I am not gona rot here and waste my age.Why do people think Canada is good?
