Best is to get a copy of the Lonely Planet Guide to Bangkok (or to Thailand). There is also a much smaller version called "Best of Bangkok" - also by the Lonely Planet.
They are worth the investment.

Dowloading a guide from the internet is not worth the trouble and the printing (are you going to also be carrying a big bundle of paper everywhere you go in Bangkok? )

Yes, do research the internet about Thailand and Bangkok. There are many great site to give you great info. But the small investment in the book(s) mentioned above is well worth it.

You dont choose a vacationer instruction manual to discover Bangkok. a lot of human beings can communicate a splash english. however the thais pronounce english words in a diverse way. So thet won't comprehend what you request for. in simple terms have some brochures of the places which you relatively opt to bypass to or have a duplicate of a return and forth instruction manual. Whenyou instruct the holiday spot to a taxidriver he will comprehend actually and take you to the place you opt to bypass. consistently get in to a metered taxi and characteristic the meter on.

A book? No. Check it the other links. I like as a general link for couples and ladies see www.bangkok.com for general info and links.

If it's for guys, straight or gay, then see www.bangkoktonight.com

For thailand in general, www.thailandguru.com or stickman or bangkokbob. Whatever suits you.

Print the pages that apply for you.

Good luck and enjoy Bangkok
