I recently visited Japan and fell in love with chu hi. I live in Atlanta, GA. Can anyone tell me where i can buy Chu Hi locally? Or at least how i can get some shipped over?

It might be hard to come by pre-mixed chu hi outside Japan, but you can mix up your own sochu based drinks. If you can't find Japanese shochu in Atlanta, you might come by some Korean soju which tastes just the same. If you can't find shochu/soju, then vodka is a good substitute. After all, the origin of shochu highballs was the substitution of cheap shochu for pricey imported vodka. Ginger beer and sochu makes a nice drink. I like shochu straight up with a slice of cucumber. Sochu oyuwari is a lovely apres-ski drink.

You can try the 99 Ranch supermarket. Here on the west coast, they specialize more in Chinese foods, but have some Japanese items as well.

Try a Japanese or Asian grocery store in your area. They probably sell it there.
