I have aboslutely no problem with them but those guys do not assimilate. Why is it so difficult for them to do so?

Im a chinese from malaysia, me and my fellow friends love japanese culture very much , from food to japanese language :) we take japanese classes too

we'd like to visit japan after graduation, and we need to know,
on general basis how will the citizens in japan treat chinese tourist? i mean lets face it, racism is not something new to this world, so im just looking for hints and tips on what to do and where to go to ensure our trip will be a dear one.

oh yeah, what is this "shops that hangs 'japanese onely' sign" that i heard about in japan ?

On previous trips to the Caribbean I have always taken an extra suitcase filled with school supplies or children's clothing and dropped it off at a school. I'm travelling to BKK in November of this year and have developed some contacts in the clothing industry and with manufacturers of school supplies and I'm quite confident I can put together a LARGE quantity of donated items - perhaps as much as a container load.

What I'm wondering is if there is an organization in BKK that could assist with the distribution. I certainly don't want to stand on a street corner giving away school supplies out of the back of a truck. The pandemonium alone would get me locked up !!!

If you have any suggestions or contacts in this regard, it would be very much appreciated, along with some candid (brutally honest, if necessary) comments on whether or not this is a good idea, if it would be an offense to the Thai culture, etc.

I'm visiting Tokyo in 2 weeks and I've looked on line to figure out how I'm going to get around in the city. But for a person living in Virginia, tokyo's public transportation system is a bit confusing.

What is the difference between subway.JR line , and skyliner.
Which one do I use?

I'm plannig on taking a limousine bus from the airport to the hotel, in Shinjuku, since there is a direct bus. But it seems like JR line and skyliners are faster. Would limousine bus be easier for me to take?

My relatives will be here for a week by end of this month. Though I've been working here in Singapore for months now, I haven't gone out to see all tourists spots (just Sentosa and Singapore zoo as yet). Where do you think and recommend should I accompany them to? They are already in their late 30s and I don't seem to feel they'd enjoy going to Clark Quay given their age group and preference.
