What I think I know July 13,2006 typhoon florita caused calamty of entire city.95,000 people live there, pagudpud beaches,Laoag greenest and cleanest city,marcos family had summer home in malacanang of the north,most get around with bike.Lantern Parade is at christmas and that they are building new 50 room hotel,gas station,shopping mall,state of the art cinema and supermarket.

is pokemon still popular in japan?? I'm not being racist, but they keep coming out with new pokemon cards and stuff in the us, but i dont know anyone personely that still likes it, so it makes me wonder, who buys it?? Then I thought, that there are alot of people who move here, and vacation here from Japan(at least where I live), so maybe they buy it. I'm just curious, I never really got into it, but I see the stuff all over.

I'm going to Jouchi Daigaku (Sophia University) this year and I'm leaving in a week. I'm wondering what I'll need aside from the obvious. I spent some time in Japan when I was in High school, and in Japanese high school I needed a Uniform, a pencil carrier, a lunch box, and slippers (sandals really.) I don't knwo that anyone who's reading this just happens to go to that school, but my dormitory is called nishi kokubunji and I'm a foreignor so I'm assuming my classes will all be in the faculty of liberal arts at the yotsuya campus, if that makes a difference. I'm wondering especially about the slippers, because when I was last in Japan, in Osaka it would be really rude to wear my regular shoes inside of some places, but not others and I always needed someone else to tell me when I needed them. Help? Other advice?
