Jurong East is a town located next to Clementi Town in Western Singapore. It has an area of 3.8 km². The Jurong East MRT Station and bus interchange are also located there. Plus,the famous Singapore Science Centre is also located there where tourists flock by daily. It is quite close to the Singapore Chinese Gardens or Yu Hua Yuan. IMM, which contains a Giant Hypermart, is the shopping mall where crowds throng to during weekends. The Akira store is also a crowd-puller with its popular Warehouse Sale selling branded products cheaply via deep discounts and auctions. It is under the Southwest CDC.

Jurong East - though there is "east" word - but JE (short form of Jurong East) is actually located at West side of Singapore. Jurong East MRT station is one the interchange for north-south line. The landmark at Jurong East is Science center. Jurong Entertainment Centre is just 5 minutes from there and IMM building which is now under expansion project - both are good place to go in JE.
