I know Klong Jak beach, its on the island of Koh Lanta. Just a little south of Krabi.
Sandy beaches and very laid back, Finding accomadation is important coz you'll not want to move once there. The food and wether are superb.There are no raods as such beteween the bungalows and hammocks, but the restraunts and nightlife are great,you can hire a motorbike or car, and go to the falls to see themwashing the elephants and all the festivals it entails

Could this be Bang Jak island which is part of a group of island in the National Park Moo Koh Yam?

Ao Khlong Jaak, on the south-western beach at southern tip of Ko Lanta Yai. Located in the national park. Good for nature trail and trek. Sea Gypsy village nearby.

This is in Krabi Province, accessible by ferry from Phuket or Krabi town.
