Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends.
You order what you want, then when you see what the other person has, you wish you had ordered that.

Man: Is there any way for long life?
Dr: Get married.
Man: Will it help?
Dr: No, but the thought of long life will never come.

Why do couples hold hands during their wedding?
It's a formality just like two boxers shaking hands before the fight
begins!

Wife: Darling today is our anniversary, what should we do?
Husband: Let us stand in silence for 2 minutes.

It's funny when people discuss Love Marriage vs Arranged.
It's like asking someone, if suicide is better or being murdered.

It is difficult to understand GOD. He makes such beautiful things as
women and then he turns them into Wives !

A man, who surrenders when he's wrong, is Honest. A man who
surrenders when not Sure, is Wise. A man who surrenders even if he's Right, is a Husband.

A few months ago i was sitting in my favourite coffee shop, front row table, suddenly a funny looking guy with a back pack came in from nowhere, throw his back pack on an empty chair and took his shirt off, got everybody's attention but no one moved, we were waiting for some "damage" but then....(watch the video)

I thought the people of Gaza wanted to be rid of the occupation.
Now they have their own elected government that is in full control of its territory.

*one could say Israel still controls the water and air space of Gaza and that constitutes occupation. While this may be true it would better defined as a blockade, no other place in history is controlling the air or water space of another state considered an occupation.

That being said since Israel does not occupy Gaza what obligation does it have to its citizens? Gaza shares a border with Egypt it could turn to them for its utilities or generate them on their own.

I don't need to know what it is, because I'm not sharing, but today, everything clicked for me. I stood back and saw my whole life and future fall into place. I feel better about myself and what is going on than I have for a long time. Have you ever had that life changing moment? Did it last? Were you affected by the revealation?

It was about the marriages between US soldiers and Iraqis in Iraq. I am not asking for comments about the war, but rather about love. Because of segregating themselves off from the local community, it was commented that this was the lowest level of marriages during any wartime over the last 60 years. For example during Vietnam and Korea, the US saw up to 20% increase in immigration, due to army marriages, but in the last 4 years only 2400 requests have been made. What seems to be the biggest reason? Is it their isolation? the religious differences? How do you feel about intercultural marriages? Are these differences greater, the same or lesser for the Lebanese?

When I was there about 5 years ago it was lovely and untouched, for the most part, by tourism, apart from a couple of hotels and dive schools. The seafront promenade was perfect!

Is it still like this or has it turned in to Sharm Mark 2?

Thanks!
