All the Lechi and Irgun did was harm.
If those groups would have worked more to preparing Israel for when the British would leave, or pressuring the British to bring in more Jews during the Holocaust. Instead of causing attacks to a group that was perfectly willing to leave, Israel would have been better off.
That is what the Palestinians do not get, the reason the Israelis will not leave the West Bank is because they are afraid of what will happen after they leave. By attacking them you only show that you cannot be trusted and it would be dangerous not to occupy you.
