Why has yet another question vanished so quickly? I was just adding something to my answer in the post about Lebanon/Israel and it's disappeared - I don't understand.

But what I don't understand is how can anyone keep getting posts deleted so QUICKLY?

RHYME&REASON - thanks :)
Yesterday EDMUND T and I had a great debate/argument over something; we stayed perfectly civil but it got deleted anyway. It's absurd.

PERSIAN BOY - no worries! :) My 'Jewish' sense of humour cannot compete with all the nastiness now happening in this forum!

DIANA - cheers lots! :)

HEY EDMUND T - I don't think MIKEINRI is 'racist', though. But it is getting absurd the way so many of us are having our posts deleted - how are they vanishing so quickly?!

GIGI - cheers for reminding me! I have voted in the phobia section. 'h' who defined phobia wrongly is in fact great and gives brilliant answers in this forum, but yes, I agree with you, with the phobia thing she was not right.

The poster might have withdrawn the question voluntarily, perhaps they rethought what they were going to ask or say. Also if the question is quite inflammatory then the question might get reported straight away and pulled. I think that perhaps yahoo staff check and delete posts if they are looking to be a bit of a free for all and violate posting regulation.

Israel and the Lebanon fit into the category of inflammatory I think, well the political side of things does.

Sometimes it happens and it may due to mechanical fault.

Just put the question again. it's all that you have to do.

It may also be possible that somebody didn't like the question and reported it while you were adding something. In that case just put the question again maybe with slightly different words.

Additional detail: I think though i'm not 100% sure that with this new system some people according to their records get incresed influence in getting questions deleted. That is why is important to report bad questions when you see one. (I don't refer to yours of course).

However I have noticed that you like to do questions and answers about the Israel/ Arabs topic. This like religion and politics in general is a very hot topic where there are people who simply are unable to listen rationally to other people's points of views so you have to accept that some of your questions are occasionally reported.

But don't give up and if they persecute you and one day manage to ban you injustly just come back with a new account.

Tabatha, there's *definitely* some bizarre decisions being made at Yamster Central about deleting questions.

I've had questions deleted BEFORE they were posted, while right now in the "Egypt" section there's a post praising suicide bombing that's been up for over two days despite repeated flagging:

"but what did YOU do for Palestines or for anyone? tell me if you can hero.. I advise you, rather to criticise the Egyptian people, suggest something to do like demonstration for example if you are Egyptian or tell us about your experience of this matter. Let me now ask you a question: are you really ready to gift your soul for the Palestanian cause? for me I know the answer prematurely, people like you do nothing except complaining but in the serious time, they shut up. For me I am ready to carry out what you called the suicidal missions and what I called martyrdom duty and I am ready right now, do you know a struggleful cell which I can join to it?? by the way.. it is not joke!"

I guess somebody at Yahoo figures terrorism isn't offensive to anybody . . . except maybe the victims, but they're already dead, so "who cares"?

Someone did not like you. The violation notice will show up shortly.

I received a violation notice the other day for informing some asker who claimed to be 9 that the minimum age here is 13. If someone does not like your answer then they will report you just to get rid of you.

You know, last question i posted with my old account, it was a very funny question, it was what was your previour password? I asked this question twice, one survived but the otehr one not.

But in both questions i found people attacking me, afraid me of hacking them, did i know your e-mails you people???? It was a very funny question for me. Only few answerd right.

In the same day i got suspended!!! So don't be sad we all get violations whether quickly or not. Always bad is better than worse. Have a good day.

Tabatha if you have a moment can you please go vote for best answer to the question you posted about "phobia".
I would just no like that other lady to get the points if you don' vote. The one who said that all of us confuse phobia with some sort of disorder... and she is absoluely wrong because I even searched about the meaning of "phobia"
thanks!
