Am I getting this right?
If Israel continues supplying water and electricity, then she's guilty of 'occupying' or 'blockading' Gaza.
If Israel stops supplying water and electricity, then she's guilty of neglect.
So whatever Israel does, she ends up in the wrong?
Any rational person can see that this is nonsensical.
EDIT HOPELESS
Yes, I know it's an accurate summary, it's also absurd. Whatever she does, Israel will be condemned. Why doesn't Egypt help out with providing some water etc?

If the West Bank and Gaza did in fact get full independence, I guarantee you they will still be begging Israel for water, electricity, aid and you will be seeing Palestinians applying for work and resident visas to work in Israel, while at the same time shooting rockets at Israel.

If they do business, in such vital commodities, it begins a dialogue that could lead to peace.
Periodic power cuts as punishment for rockets fired could be a good compromise, keeping dialogue open.
Israel is also examining the legal implications of shutting down utilities it supplies to the impoverished territory.
Israel's government HAS drawn up a plan to "disrupt services" supplied by Israel to Gaza.
Perhaps just threatening periodic power cuts as punishment for rockets fired will prove to be enough.

I think the answer is Condoleezza Rice. She dictates, and Olmert carries out.
The funny part is that there is a fellow here who writes his name in Hebrew as "Peres' son." He should know that anyone who disagrees with "Tabatha" [sic] gets blocked by her.
Anyone, on Yahoo Answers or anywhere else, who compares Gaza with the Warsaw Ghetto is either ignorant, hate-filled or insane.

Can anyone please explain to me why Israel should keep supplying power and water to Gaza?
1,Humanitarian reasons. As Israel is a great democracy and cares so much about people, that's what I've heard.
2, read Malka's report , who was very kind to give a link.
3. For ex America is running out of water, and now in negotiations with Canada, should we sell the water to America or give it because all Humans deserve to have water?
4. Israel in the world's eyes will always be responsible because she has stolen the land and water in the first place.
5. It is a shame that because Hamas cannot control Islamic Jihad from firing rockets, there may be collective punishment, of innocent people yet again. Peace!
Thumbs up Tabatha, you've got it right!

Good question.
The less interaction Israel has with Gaza, the better.

Of course that is easy - Israel should keep supplying power and water to the Gaza strip because these people need to keep up their strength to kill more Israelis - don't you understand that is what this is about?
Good Luck!!!
