At the moment I do not have a glamourous lifestyle but is able to save about a 1000USD a month. I do not have management qualifications and if I return to SA will not nearly earn the same money I do now, but I'm tired of living in a foreign country and the hassle that goes with it. I soon have to make up my mind.

We usually eat it off one plate (saves dishes!!! and brings closeness too) but it depends what we are eating and if we are actually eating together at the same time. The branch of my dh's family here in America is getting so big masha'allah that we can't hardly do that anymore. There is no dining table large enough for us either so we have to clear the furniture and put a large tablecloth on the floor and set up all the dishes, masha'allah! I know sooooo many ppl would think we are crazy, but I love that we aren't uptight like that! LOL

I know this sounds strange coming from someone who is Pro-Israel, but I think the strings attached to the aid simply is not worth it.

This article might help explain why In think so better than I can.

Jews dislike Christians to some extent?

Jews did not kill Jesus. Jews had no control over the way the was executed (crucifixion, a common Roman method for low criminals), since Rome was in control of the land of Israel at that time. There is no proof that the Jews wanted Jesus dead, even the Gospels were written after JC's death by his disciples, even if, maybe they were written down much later, who knows?Frankly, if the Jews wanted to kill Jesus, they would have requested of theRoman procurator (Pontius Pilate) that JC be stoned in accordance with Sanhedrin (court) law.
In short, Jews never hated Jesus. But do Jews hate Jesus now? I mean Christians used the "they killed JC" excuse to murder tens of millions of Jews over the rougly 2,000 year period till today. Perhaps Jews hate that there ever was a man called Jesus, because of all the trouble, genocide, and suffering that was brought upon them b/c of them supposedly killing him?

Apparently, Your brain is supposed to fire a "hold your horses" signal when faced with a tough choice.
But a brain implant that stops the tremors of Parkinson's disease may block that signal — a new explanation for why some Parkinson's patients become hugely impulsive.
Do you think we should all have this implant?

the title of the article: Suspected Jewish terrorists set Jerusalem Church on fire

2007-10-25 08:17:17 · 17 answers · asked by Anonymous in Israel

A CNN journalist heard about a very old Jewish man in Jerusalem who had been going to the Western Wall to pray, twice a day, every day, for a long, long time. That’d make a good story, she decided.

So she drove to the wall and, sure enough, there was the elderly gent, praying away. She watched him for an hour and, as he turned to leave, approached him for an interview.

“Rebecca Smith, CNN,” she said. “Sir, how long have you been coming to the Western Wall to pray?”

“Sixty years.”

“Sixty years! Amazing! What do you pray for?”

“I pray for peace between Christians, Jews and Muslims. I pray for all hatred to stop and I pray for all our children to grow up in safety and friendship.”

“So how do you feel after doing this for so long?”

“Like I’m talking to a bloody wall!”
