Ahmed - I agree that Allah (s.w) is the most merciful, but should we take advantage of that?? Should we meet him and take advantage of his mercifulness knowing that we did not try hard enough to do want he wants us to do??? Think about it!!

We need reminding everyday that it is only by the grace of Allah (swt) that we are here. I wonder if we are every really prepared to met Allah(swt)no matter how much we believe that we may enter paradise.
It is human nature to fear the unknown even when we know that "unknown" is what made us,The One who loves us and gave us everything that we have enjoyed in this life.It is only by his grace that we are here and in his time we will leave.
I am still learning to become worthy of all that Allah(swt)
has bestowed upon me and one of the greatest of his gifts was the opening of my eyes and my heart to Islam.
For I never went searching for Islam it came to me.
Before my reversion I was not in any way religious and didn't attend a church except for wedding and funerals.
I would have laughed if someone had said that I would become a follower of Islam and live my life according to the message of the Holy Qoran and the tenets of the Islamic faith.
I think very differently now, after finding so much beauty and truth in The Message of The Prophet pbuh I have accepted Islam as the way I want to live my life.
I look forward to Tuesday evenings when I go to my private instruction with the very patient Iman in Luxor and Friday prayers as I enjoy going to the masjid with my husband and Egyptian family. Although I don't understand most of what is being said, other than the salats and prayers I just love the feeling of belonging.
Sometimes when I am doing things around the house I go to youtube and find some interesting Sheik who is speaking about Islam in English and I just love listening to those little children recite the Holy Qoran.
All I could say if I was called to face The Holy Prophet tonight is that I have done my best, but I know that he would already be able to read the truth of that in my heart.
May Allah(swt) in his mercy and wisdom guide us all.
I just pray that when ever my time comes to account for all I have and haven't done in my life I will be found to have done my best.
I make a special effort not to add to the list of sins I have committed and to make amends for them in the best way that I can.
But I know even though I may try hard that I will continue to commit sins, for I am only human. My intention is to keep some sort of balance so that when the time does come, then the sins will not too heavily outweigh the effort I've made to amend them.
I think it is so important to tell those that you love and care for just how much you need them in your life. for each time we part there is no guarantee that we will get to say I love you once again on this earthly plane.

Sob7ana Allah. I was just thinking of the exact same question yesterday. Am I ready? Is everyone around me ready? I don't know if I am, but I try to do my best and improve myself. I try to do good deeds that will help me in the hereafter. I hope everyone of us keeps on mind this coming day and never forget abt it because it's coming now or later no matter how much one lives. Pray to Allah to have mercy on us. May Allah bless us all

May Allah SWT forgive me, I am a flawed human being. Astagfirullah I have made many mistakes in my life and I am not at all proud of them, I feel thoroughly ashamed of myself. May Allah SWT have mercy upon us all and forgive us for our sins InshaAllah. Ameen.
I hope when I meet my dear Lord, that he will be pleased to meet me and I will be pleased to meet him InshaAllah. I fear my Lord so much that I am reduced to tears sometimes but I also feel a tremendous love which makes me long to meet him InshaAllah.

Am not religious but spiritual. Am trying to create my own heaven while I'm alive rather than waiting for a big transition at the time of death.

hi,Jasmine :)
Jazzaki Allahu Khayran ya habibty for the reminder .....
and NO,i don't think i'm ready to meet HIM .....
i'm not satisfied by what i'm doing .... but i'm trying to improve myself ....
and i believe that whoever think he is "ready" to meet Allah [s.w.t] ........ he surely is NOT ready ...
Nobody shall consider himself "ready" to meet Allah... coz we would never worship HIM as HE deserve ...... we just have to try hard and do our best to be close to HIM,obey HIM and ask HIS forgiveness.... as well as ...... HIS guidance

May Allah bless u and us all ...... Ameen
