Apparently, Your brain is supposed to fire a "hold your horses" signal when faced with a tough choice.
But a brain implant that stops the tremors of Parkinson's disease may block that signal — a new explanation for why some Parkinson's patients become hugely impulsive.
Do you think we should all have this implant?

What if I just agree not to eat lead paint? I think I was born without the "hold your horses" mechanism. I can't really trace it back to anyone in my family since I was left on the doorstep by Gypsies. And, I think if you eat a good amount of carrots, it fights off all diseases, and let's face it, ARAK kills germs, so, peace, love and ARAK! and carrots!

Please, no! Being impulsive means doing without thinking of the consequences, or disregarding the consequences. That leads to pain and disappointment. Think before you act implants are needed the world over, in my opinion.
