Question

Do you treat others the way they treat you,or do you just act yourself.
if some people is not caring about you the way you are about them,so do you show less care & hide your real feelings of care about them or do you just act yourself ?
which do you think is right?

I would treat others with care , honesty, faithfulness, respect and gently, because that is my attitude and that is how i expect others to treat me.

If the others are not caring for me, I will not, or even i cannot change my attitude, I cannot deal them the same way, usually I drop them from my life.

Although I fee disappointment and sadness about that but at the end I should be fair to myself if I have dignity and self respect.

Don't take a fixed rule to apply in all cases.
With friends it's different than with close relatives or with colleagues it's not the same like with lovers. Real friends who meet face to face may not feel the same like on line friends.

In most cases I should and I try to understand the real situation, it's not nice that we just put assumption and decide what to do according to these assumption. in many cases we assum false situations.

I will give you a better rule, I use. make an account for everyone you know. Exactly like bank accounts. They may withdraw or add to their accounts. in some cases when banks has a well known customer who was always clean, they may let him make an [overdraft] that means finish all his amount and borrow from the bank with interest.

I permit dear or close people to make overdrafts sometimes as I know they were great and may add later again to their accounts.

I treat others the way I want them to treat me, but then that is being myself. When I think about doing something that would make someone else unhappy, I just think about how unhappy that makes me and I do not wish other people to fell like that. In my opinion, the reason the world is so full of hate and misery is because people dont think about how others feel and only try to help themselves because "it's just who they are." Wouldnt we all be better off is everyone tried to help everyone else feel good?

This greatly depends.

First of all, about treating others, I treat others gently even if they don't, someone has recently criticizes this as he noticed this in my treatment with some bad-treating people, though I told him that I'm convinced with this way and I can handle bad people though. Meaning I would not be aggressive with them neither will I let them be aggressive with me.

And regarding those whom I care about, then let me tell you that if they care about me as well, they would have showed so, so in such a case, I would choose to reconsider my relation with them, and take suitable action to have the suitable behavior toward them.

I always care about another pple, but if someone is rude and not polite with me, I'll act the same way with them.
I cant be hypocritical, as to smile or treat nicelly to a person that doesnt do it with me.

Hamdulliah i act myself............although sometimes i say that i'll treat them the way the do with me, but i just "can't" !!

i can't be anything other than myself (whether this attitude is right or not ) !!!!!

but still, there are some people who'll drive you angry, and those whom you wasted all your efforts to keep in touch with them............such people really turn to be ZERO on the right, and their presence doesn't affect me at all !!!!!!

yes I treat other the way they treat me. If they're rude and not nice to me, sure I won't be nice to them. I don't start treating ppl this way unless they start it first. I will never go try to be friendly with someone who does not seem to be friendly with me. I have a lot of pride in myself ;)

i'll be who i am, caring and loving, but if i get a cold reaction i will abstain keda on the spot, why ? because the person in question is not blind, they see very well how i am, if there is no mutual will, why should i push ? when there isn't will there isn't, khalas
if it's already an ongoing relation, and there is a sudden shift then i will give it longer until i change my ways, because there's already a foundation

i used to treat ppl exactly like they treat me,but i learned that i must be polite and myself no matter what happen,that what God told us...3amly mo3amlet rabena zy maby2olo...
about the second q,if these ppl mean sth to me then i will tell them or send some signals that i feel they are not caring..
if they don't,then i would just forget it...and just act like nothing and be myself...
