This article might be a little confusing for you but it proves that Muslim men can marry "women of the book" (Jews and Christians): http://www.irfi.org/questions_answers/muslim_men_can_marry_nonmuslim.htm
It is easy enough for a Brit to marry there, so easy that many do it every year. It is legally binding.
It is IN THE QURAN that a Muslim man can marry a non-Muslim woman!

I'm sorry but Hazy's Peach is WAY off (and I usually like her answers). YOU DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT HAVE TO CONVERT to Islam to marry a Moroccan (or any Muslim) man!
It should be legally binding in the UK but you need to look into information from the British Embassy in Morocco and find out about immigration (spousal) before doing anything else. If you have more specific questions just ask in here there are a bunch of women in here married to Moroccan men (but I think most of us if not all are American so we know more about the American laws pertaining to this). Getting married in Morocco takes a while since you are a foreigner and you have a bunch of paperwork to take around and get checked out. It could be a couple weeks to a month before you can have the marriage performed.

BEST WISHES & hope to see you back in this section in the future!

WHOA! Wait a second! You DO NOT have to convert to marry a Moroccan in Morocco. If you are a man wanting to marry a Moroccan woman, you must be Muslim as Muslim women are expected to only marry Muslim men. If you are a woman wanting to marry a Moroccan man, you need to have proof that you are Muslim, Christian or Jewish, as Muslim men are to marry 'women of the Book'.
Marrying in Morocco for a foreigner AND a resident can be a lengthy, tedious and frustrating process. You need police records, birth certificates, proof of status (married, divorced, single, etc), proof of income or employment, proof of religion. etc. It took my husband and I almost one month to complete the process, mainly due to issues with local offices protesting and refusing to work several days. It was all worth it though, and now I am married to a truly wonderful man.
As far as being legally binding, I don't see why a marriage in Morocco would not be accepted in the UK. The Act of Marriage document is your proof of your commitment, witnesses, agreements, etc...
Best wishes.

No it isnt legally binding. And you would have to pay a few bribes to even get a marriage certificate. So you will be atleast 3 thousand pounds just to get married excluding bribes.
