The traditional clothing in Tunisia varies depending on the part of the country you are from. For the most part, the wearing of traditional clothing has died out.

Here you can find some examples of what traditional clothes looked like, especially the different varieties of wedding clothes worn by different regions (I forgot to label the regions they came from though!). You'll notice that for the most part the traditional clothes of men stay the same, no matter where they are from: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamie_hassen/sets/72157594505054775/detail/

If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.

i got here across many good clothing stores there, interior the classic markets. i can not remember the be conscious for them, perhaps 'souk' became it? The sizes tend to be particularly small and the garments are actually not of a similar high quality you will possibly discover in Britain or France for occasion. i did no longer see many footwear on the marketplace there, yet I did be conscious that most of the locals wore what Brits might call slippers or domicile footwear in the line! i could no longer disagree greater strongly with takethepain. the human beings there are fantastic, yet you may desire to fain disinterest whilst strolling close to any vacationer shops or you would be hounded. French facilitates a great deal additionally when you consider that no person speaks English there.
