My family and I currently live in Delaware and have lived in various states on the east coast. We are sick of the winters and my husband and son suffers from allergies that are further aggrivated by the seasonal changes. We are interested in a location that have very mild winters where snow is almost non-existant.

We are also looking for a place with reasonably priced housing and a great school system. Any advice on what Austin suburbs to look at? Thanks for the help in advance.

A few friends and I are going to Belize tomorrow for a couple of days. We're probably going to stay at a hostel or less expensive inn. We've never been there before so and this is kind of a travel on a whim sort of thing. We'll be flying into Belize City. Does anyone have suggestions on where we should go and what we should see?

Ok, he's asked me to go to Rome - I had to pay my half, but he's paying for all meals etc <>. With one breath he begs me to go and see him, with the other he says "don't read anything into this trip". Mr Scardey-Cat or what? If I can't make him admit he's smitten in Rome, I don't know where else I could try! Any ideas for romantic restaurants, sites, etc? Thanks!

My friend and I are planning a two week visit to Thailand. My biggest concern is the safety issue. We are both younger (23) white female girls. We're planning to stay near the resorts for the majority of the trip.

Just wondering if anyone had any advice. Thanks!

And Central America too. Buenos Aires is one, I suppose. What about the others? By "cosmopolitan" I mean with hip, sophisticated people, interesting architecture, lots of things to see and do, and a pleasure to explore on a Saturday afternoon. Gracias, amigos y amigas.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts.
I have narrowed my search down to three different places.
1) Ryokan Kohro (which is more expensive about 20500 yen for 3 people, but seems more centrally located and while it looks more like a hotel appears to have nice baths)
2) Matsuba-ya Inn - which has a better price only 15300 yen for three people and looks quite nice but I think there is an 11pm curfew which I don't like and finally 3) Aoi-so Inn. This seems nice as well and is only 15500 yen for three people and has a coin laundry and no curfew but you have to pay for everything seperatly for example 100 yen for 10 min of kitchen use or 100 yen for 15 min of shower.

Out of these options does anyone have any opionions or advise? There will be ten of us staying (6 adults and 4 children).

How likely is it that there will be things to do after 11 pm? Should I worry about the curfew?

I'm a part filipino but i love my perfect tan skin color. my color is more like Nicole of Pussycat dolls, but some of filipinos hate tan or even bronze as they're trying hard to be pale like christina aguilera.
