Is December 28 through January 6 a decent time to visit Disney World or will it be packed to the max? I would appreciate your opinions on this time frame! Thank you!

You are falling in a time frame right at the end of both the busiest time and then the moderate crowds. The second week of January is when Disney considers the crowds to be the lowest, of that time frame. Until after New Years, you are going to still see pretty heavy crowds, since most people are still off work and/or school. After New Year's, the crowds are still heavy, but not as bad.

It is going to be busy, but I don't think it will be filled to the max, that doesn't happen to often, usually like Christmas day and things. The second week of January tends to be the time when they like to do refurbishments, so a lot of rides may close, so I think you will have more to do during this time as well.

Two years ago I went from a few days before Christmas, to a few days after New Years. The week of Christmas was pretty busy, on Christmas it was really busy (I can't remember if they closed this year or not) after Christmas is was busy but not as bad, New Years was almost as busy at Christmas and then after New Year's crowds really calmed down and were more manageable.

I hope this helps!

The timeframe you are talking about is between Christmas and New Year's and that is the most crowded to go. It is comparible to going in June. The schools are off and usually don't go back until the 2nd week of January. I've known people that have gone there during that time period and they had to close the parks because it was so crowded. Good Luck with your planning.

in case you chosen to attend, you made a solid determination. Christmas into New 12 months's is the craziest time down there. We went final 12 months over Christmas eve and hated it. we are able to by no potential do this back. Our pals have been given back 2 weeks in the past and suggested it replaced into particularly quiet. We had our maximum suitable good fortune one 12 months on the week after Thanksgiving.

Most kids go back before Jan 6, so it would start out slightly crowded (but not like in the middle of the summer) and get less and less crowded.

You definately picked a busy time to go. If you are planning on going to the parls on New Years Eve be prepared to go early and stay until closing. The parks will hit maximum attendance early in the day and whether you stay on site or not you won't be allowed in the park if this happens.

I have lived in Florida all my life and every Christmas it is rainy. It is expected like snow in the song "White Christmas" where it is a part of the holiday. My lawn likes the relief from the heat and the rain and looks good like a coating of fresh snow looks good.
