When I went over to visit the UK, many of the people where so rude. No respect at all. People just push past you on the streets, and they don't even say sorry. Especially in London. I went into a McDonald's, and they basically threw the meal in my face.

Not all British people are like this, but many are and it's very noticable. Must be all those depressing days of rain?

I'm trying to get some cheap fares (less than $1,000.00) for a round trip ticket to see my fiance for Christmas. I've checked most of the main airfare sites, Priceline, Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, etc. and all the major airlines. my dates are flexible and I've tried quite a few combinations. Other than all this, does any one have any tips or tricks for getting super cheap fare during the holidays?

For instance, I went to Thailand two summers ago and it was great! Food was delicious, 4-star hotels cost only around $30 USD per night or less, and you could get a 2-hour massage for $6 USD! (In America, a 2-hour massage would easily cost $160+!)

So of course I got to thinking, why don't people just work for a little while and make some money, then go and retire in Thailand? Do people do this? It seems like people don't do it unless they're in the army and happened to be stationed there for a long time, or some reason like that.

I've looked at a ton of websites, but none of them really fit my exact situation. I am currently a history major planning on graduating in May 2007, and I would like to study or work in Russia for the sole purpose of learning the language. How can I find a legitimate job that doesn't already require me to know the Russian language? How would I find an apartment? I haven't been able to find any programs that will pay for me to live there while I learn the language, but is anyone else able to find something?

I am going to canada the day after tomarrow, I want to know if I have to prove anything other than my citizenship of the U.S. ?

Do I have to prove that I have sufficient funds, or that I'm coming back to the U.S because I don't have a round trip ticket, only a one way.

I have relatives in Seatle, so I was probably going to get picked up by them after about 3 4 months in canada.

I called this number it should be canada customs and she said that I won't need to prove sufficent funds or that I'm coming back as long as I'm a U.S. Citizen.

We are a group of 15 People, Planning to Visit Lonavala, Khandala and Matheran in One Day. -Right now I'm taking classes for surgical technology. I'm hoping that my interest in medicine will favor me a spot in the peace core. I'm not too interested in making a lot or living extravagantly I just want to experience other cultures. My main focus is Thailand.
