Ok, my local Mt. Trashmore is called Mt. Brighton. Check out the website below to check it out. Anyways, this year, they are charging $450 for a season pass. That's more expensive than one in colorado! Is it too much? I think it is. Help is much appreciated.

OK, I want to Snowboard, and have some experience. My son wants to learn snowboarding. My wife and daughter have never skiied, and want to learn tradational style. We are going to have lessons before we go. We plan to take a week (out of school tut tut) possibly in Februrary , and this rules out USA/ Canada cos of the travel time. We also want to have options to do other non-skiing stuff should the mood take us, as to be honest the Wife and daughter are not that keen really.

So given the above, where would you recommend?

I have been to Andorra and am worried it might lack snow again. I fancy Grenada/ Spain, but have heard nothing of the snow quality or risk of having no Snow, or of the quality of the infrastructure.

All comments welcome.

I go skiing often and when I ski, I usally wear a hoody and a down vest. However, when it snows the hoody absorbs the snow and it gets wet. I have been considering buying a cold gear shirt from underarmour but, I also want to buy something to wear on top that will be waterproof. Is there something I can wear under my vest that is thin and waterproof and would match well. If you have any advice, that'll be great. Thanks~!

I am thinking to buy some high end demo skis, but the bindings are on a demo track. Does it make a difference when skiing? and is it worth removing the track, will removing the track damage the ski because of additional drilling?

I'm currently living in the interior of Alaska and my girlfriend back in California wants us to go skiing at Sugar bowl when I come home for Christmas.

Here's the problem, I ******* hate skiing and the last place I want to be in some place where there's snow. I'm on vacation, where I'm living is really ******* cold. No more ******* snow.

She was like, "Ok, you can go do what you want to do and I'm going skiing," which didn't sound like such a bad idea, but she sounded kind of mad because I think she wanted me to go with her. Precious moments on the bunny slope and flirting sounds real cute and ****, but I ******* hate skiing. And the only thing to do there is skiing, snowboarding, and toobing. I don't want to do any of it. No more ******* snow.

Any suggestions, folks?

I am in the process of creating a new ski company. I have a lot of my skis pressed and dressed in carbon fiber, looking fine. I also have a few sponsored skiers, and I need to dress them well. I do not want to purchase another brands clothing (competition!) So i was wondering if anyone knows of directions on how to make your own custom ski clothes.

Can you help me think of some fun, relatively cheap activity ideas for the ski club I'm trying to start at my university in WI? So far, I've thought of saturday trips to surrounding local hills, ski tuning clinics, and going out to dinner as a club. what else could we do?

I am going to be in Vermont for about a week in late December, I would like to go sking/snowboarding at least one day (never been skiing, only snowboarding) The last time I was there I had to rent equipment from the Ski Shop at Killington itself. I was curious if there is another place that has a wider variety (Aspen East Maybe??) avaiable for rent. Buying is not really an option because I live in Florida and rarely ever go near snow.

Any suggestioons?
