I am thinking about buying the North Face Quanticon Jacket but I am not sure about a few things. It says the average weight is 4lbs 5 oz. That is pretty heavy. Is this a bulky, heavy parka that should only be worn in extreme cold, or can this be worn on 40-50 degree average winter days where I live? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. thanks much.

im buying snowboard euipment and dont have the faintest what to look for,this includes things like minor details to the board which could have an effect on the performance of it.

when buying a board are there rules as to what size it should be in comparison to the riders body, when picking out boots: my shoe size is 9, does this meen i need to maybe buy a size or two bigger for comfort space as with rollerblading or simply get a pair like one would buy shoes?

if you have any other tips and hints that would be greatly appreciated

I am making a snowboard size calculator for the web site http://frostyrider.com and I need to compile data so it can be accurate. Please reply with the following information about yourself and the size snowboard you ride.

Size board you ride: (at least length in cm. if you knwo the waist width please add that too)

i am english speaking with an eu passport, i have no commitments till june 2007, i love snowboarding and want to spend as much time on a ski resort as possible!
i am willing to d anything and i have experience in various different fields of work including waitor/barman/maintenance and painting plumbing etc.
