When should Christmas lights be put up & when should they be taken down? I've always gone by the rule my Mom used. Up after Thanksgiving & down the week after New Years.

AND...
SHOULD THERE BE A LAW...?
I've already seen 3 stores with Christmas lights and Sale signs up. Jeezus H!, it's not even Halloween yet.

Planning to go skiing in jan. want somewhere with varied skiing. and a large pisted area. also a bit of nightlife. also not too expensive. went to val di fassa in the dolomites last year and loved it, except for the lack of nightlife. can anybody recommend anywhere?

i went to the park a few weeks ago and saw this little girl rolling on a skateboard. Only it wasn't a skateboard, you control it like how you would control a snowboard, the carving manuevering. i was wondering what they're called and where i can pick one up.
