okay ive been looking online for snowboarding pants and i came apon these snowboarding jean pants that are water proof. If anyone has worn these jean water proof snowboarding pants im wondering if they keep you warm or not and if they are really full waterproof

The first dude is a chump... that was a cheap way to "earn" two points.

I'm browsing a site where they claim the pants are water resistant, but, I would be a little wary as jeans are made out of cotton and cotton is bad news on the slopes.

I dont know... I'd go with a pair of traditional pants (as in non-jean type).

Ive seen a pair of Quiksilver's that are cord but still keep you warm and waterproof. £135 but look mint. Unless you're going to be moving through deep powder most ski pants will do the business.
