This would be shot from a lever-action cowboy rifle. I think this is mainly a pistol round, and I was wondering what its range was on a rifle? I heard that some individuals can hit targets hundreds of yards away even with a pistol is this true?

I don't know if I should be using rifled slugs or sabots with my slug barrel. Looking down the bore there appears to be lines, but I don't see any twist to them, so maybe the bore is just scored from using the wrong type of slug. The barrel is chambered to handle 2 3/4 or 3" shells.

I just want to be sure. Answers failing, I suppose I will go shoot some sabots and see if they are accurate.

And if it is rifled, can I repair the rifling?

It is okay to shoot bird shot through it?

Thank you.

I am not looking for a self-defense weapon as much as I am a fun gun to shoot and practice with. My FEG PA-63 is way to hard on the hand after a day on the range.

I used a .40 SW as a teenager when shoting and I recall it having nice power for takedown. And I recall desiring a Glock Model 35, but have since decided to shop around and am seeking advice. Basically, is there any reason I should not buy a well rated Hi Point? Is the SIGMA a good line? Why should I consider a Glock, if at all?

I would use it mainly as a utility knife. I want it to be a folding blade that is durable that is less than 5 inches long. It can be either polymer or metal but if I am going to spend some money on it I want it to last.

pellet gun? but, then i actually saw one and talked to a guy about it and it wouldn't deter anyone from trying to harm me. my husband said to get a glock and use rubber bullets? i want something to protect my family, but want an alternative. i don't want to shoot a real gun with a real bullet and have the bullet go clear through my house and into my neighbor's house, you know what i mean? is there anything out there that you all know of that fits what i'm looking for?

I just recently got an old 8mm mauser with the adjustable rear sights. However, i'm not sure how to adjust them for the best overall setting. It slides forward and back and there are numbers along each side. Is more forward for further distances, or backward for further distances to where the site is not elevated?

I recently puchased a Russin Tula Mosin Nagant dated 1939. My boyfriend and I have tried and searched online and found nothing. The thing is there is two brass finishings on each end of the upper wood. We've found pictures online but can not find the significance of this. Also if anyone knows anywhere online we can go to find out about the serial numbers that would be great.

I am considering buying a crossbow. I am familiar with compound long-bows, but I have never used a crossbow. I plan on using it for deer and turkey hunting. Should I seek something with 150 draw weight or larger? What brands have a good reputation? What accessories should I be aware of or consider? What else should I know about concerning my choice for a new purchase?

I have a Remington 1100 12 ga. which is starting to experience some jamming when the gun reloads. It is ejecting fine, but gets caught just as the new shell is about to enter the firing chamber. Someone told me to clean around the o-ring or remove it, but I would rather seek more advice. What are your suggestions, 1100 owners?
