Maybe you should have a couple of shots at targets at 40 yds with buckshot today, you will be very surprised. Deer deserve more respect than this, take a rifle.

With Buckshot at that close of range you won't notice hardly any affect unless it blows you out of that tree stand. Holy cow 22 feet? Be sure to take your oxygen tank and a safety harness.

Honestly with those pellets going les than 40 yards you will barely notice the winds effects. Good hunting and best of luck.

I think the heavier wind plays to your advantage as far as scent goes. I'd much rather have 20mph wind than calm wind at bow ranges.

As far as deer movement, they have to get up and eat and the wind won't affect them too much. All the leaves are off the trees now so the wind isn't going to cause them to be as spooky as they would be in the early fall.

15-20 --- that's nothing

Depends on the distance you are shooting. The type of ammo shotgun or rifle. Gun or bow there so many variables.

The only way it will effect you is if you don't go Hunting.*
