My kids moved my tipups this summer into a bucket and left them sitting straight up. I have been ice fishing for years and never had this happen,. When I grabbed to them to get ready for the weekend I noticed that there was oil on the spools. It is a thin oil. Am I going tio have freezing issues? These are "beaver dam" tip-ups.

my grandchildren(who are in my care) have decided that it would be nice to go camping this summer -- we have bought a tent and all the equipment ready to go to dorset but i'm terrified of mice! can they still get into modern tents? i don't want to spoil the kids fun but i'm really worried it will be their first holiday for years and they are really looking forward to it

Hello,

I have a pre-ban Colt AR-15 HBAR Sporster type rifle. I was shooting last weekend and the gun jammed (first time in six years that it has jammed). I pulled the magazine and tried to lock the chamber again to see if the gun would pull out the bullet. . . (it has been shot . . so just the casing is in the barrel)... The gun will not pull it out on its own. Any ideas on how to get it out? My cleaning rod will not fit all the way down the barrel to 'punch' it out from the front . . . I guess if I don't get any ideas from here I will go buy a longer cleaning rod tonight and try that. Any help would be great. Also, do you know what causes this? Something worn out maybe? Thanks!

I mean we chase those foxes until they can run no further and allow our dogs to savage them while trying to help to local farmers and community from these dangerous creatures. Not a lot of people are aware of the sheer size a fox can grow to, in some cases as big a a horse and we are risking our lives at containing them. Tally Ho chaps!!!!!!

i would believe a longer barrel with the smaller 45cal, with a similar charge of powder behind it as a 50 or 54 cal would be ideal for more accuracy and distance. a 45 is plenty of bullet it seems for deer.

Is it the thrill of killing something, or to put meat on the table?? I'm just trying to understand the mentality of stomping around in the cold waiting for a creature to walk by. I watched a man sit in a tree in the field across from my house for a week!!! I can understand it if it's food on the table, my Dad did that. I have deer in my freezer I will never, ever touch that my brother in-law gave me. No offense--just trying to understand. I've found deer in my woods -- just the antlers cut off-- is this the exception?? I've got 100 acres that I've just banned from hunters because of this!!

for hardcore camping....camping with out restrooms, trash cans, running water...etc....How do you keep up personal hygien?
1. My skin is very sensitive and if i dont shower or use soap i break out, very badly, but i know if i am camping i cant use soaps in the rivers....what do you do?
2. When you go to the rest room and there are no toilets what do you whipe with...where do you leave the stuff you whipe with?
3. When on your period, how do you discard tampons....?

I have a kel-tec SU-16. It is fairly accurate right out the box with out zeroing the open sights. I have put 200 rounds through it without any jams or problems. Does anyone else have an SU-16 and what do you think of it.

I have a 300wsm in a win mo 70 and all I have done is shot fac loads. I have always shot reloads in everything that I use but this one is too new to the market and I am having trouble finding anything good to use. I have several good loads for other calibers but nothing to work with on this one.
