I have a kel-tec SU-16. It is fairly accurate right out the box with out zeroing the open sights. I have put 200 rounds through it without any jams or problems. Does anyone else have an SU-16 and what do you think of it.

I have an SU-16CA and it works fine. The ergonomics of the AR-15 are better but the Kel-Tec works just as well for a fun gun, pretty much as accurate. I especially appreciate that it doesn't accumulate crud in the receiver and the receiver doesn't get hot. The RRA triggers I use on the AR-15s are way better than the Kel-Tec though, that's one place they could really improve.

Lov'm! How bout the SU16D with full hand rail and mounting abilities. It folds up, perfect for a "truck gun" or whatever. Also Keltec has a 5.56 pistol thats pretty cool. Personally, I think your golden going for the Kel-Tec, personally I would go for the D model because I would want to mount a surefire on there. I doubt you'll ever need a "bipod" on a short carbine length 5.56.

I looked at them and like a lot of thing about them but I thought they had a bad case of the wiggles. That is why I went with a Saiga in .223. Saiga rifles are proven to be reliable, 5000 rounds before you have to even think abou cleaning them and 2 drops of oil every 2000-3000 rounds.

I was a little interested in one but I think that they are overpriced as considering that it is a Kel-Tec product.
