ok, I have a Derringer over/under 357 mag. It looks like a typical Derringer, but says Manufactured in Germany with some German name and tag along the spine of the upper barrel. On the side it says " 110 " but I cant find a model 110, so anyways : I cock the hammer back and fire the lowere shell, I cock it back again and the same firing pin is struck, thus not firiing the shell I want ( the upper ) but striking the lower again. On examining the internal workings I see the peice in front of the hammer that actually strikes the firing pin and both firing pins move in working order, but I cant seem to get this little p-o-s to work right. On the American Derringer website it is axplained that all or most derringers have a manually operated barrell selector, but I cant find any logical way to shoot both shells. so if I have to use this thing I want to be able to swtich to whatever needed chamber without much trouble. Help me out all you pros out there, no "firing pin problem" answers

It's made by Keela and is about 5 years old. It's not Goretex but it's something very similar. I wore it hiking up a hill in a torrential downpour then left it in my car boot for a month. Now it stinks.

I've tried febreeze, airing it and washing it in the machine and it still stinks.

Help me!

I am not wanting to buy anything illegal in the US, but the price of weapons is far cheaper in other countries, and you can also get some cool former military items.

I was just quoted $575, and a delivery of 8-9 months for a shoulder mount on a mule deer. Is this normal for California?

I have a Derringer .357 mag and when I shoot it only the lower shell discharges. I can't find anything online about how to operate it and the gun shop owners down here in good ol texas are idiots ( more so than I for not knowing how to operate it). It's a bit beat up from previous owners but very clean aside from not doing what I want it to do works great. The only info I can find on the web says that every derringer or most at least, are over/under barrell style with selectable chambers to fire... BUT HOW!!!! Theres a good thanks out there for anyone who can help me shoot this "noisy cricket" with optimum efficiency and satisafaction .

I quit bowhunting because of slob hunters. I've had 6 treestand stolen in eight years. So, I put a junk stand up, on private, posted, property. Then, I tried casting to a nearby pond. I accidently got a few dozen treble hooks looped around branches just below the stand. I left them hanging- accidently. I checked the stand several times. Yesterday, i discovered some poor fool tried to steal the stand. There was blood, broken branches, and even a battery powerd grinder, with a cutting wheel, by the base of the tree. I fear that the thief got hung up on those hooks. Too bad they were attached to 40lb spiderwire. I managed to get the rest of the hooks down, and removed the stand. It's now on a different piece of land, also posted and privately owned. I again tried fishing, but got a bunch of hooks stuck again. I wonder if somebody will try to steal it again.
