If you know what you are looking at gun shows have some good deals. Al so you can search the net for prices before you go to a show or take someone with you that knows how to buy firearms. Mosin-Nagants like the 91/30, M-44 and the M-38 all start at less then $100.00. Yugo 59/66A1 start a $99.98 and go up from there but the good stripper clips for the SKSs are getting very hard to find. M1 Garands can be gotten from the CMP for about $400.00.

There are sites which advertise guns, but to get them you must have them shipped to a dealer with an FFL. Try local pawn shops and even newspaper ads. I have bought several very nice guns at garage sales. I don't know where you live; some areas are very strict about sales between individuals. Personally, I like having several guns not bought with all the paper work which makes them traceable by "Big Brother" (Big Sister if, God help us, Hillary gets in).

Just go to Big 5 and you can pick up a surplus bolt action rifle for under $100. Or go to Wal-Mart to find a brand new .22 for about $100. Good Luck and Good Shooting!

The Mosin Nagant is the main inexpensive at around $ninety and you will get a guy made inventory for around $60. The Mosin is a sturdy gun truthfully properly truthfully worth the money, you do no longer even actual choose a guy made inventory for it. i'm hoping this facilitates!

Best I've seen are http://www.gunbroker.com & http://www.gunsamerica.com for online sales. Arms importers like http://centuryarms.com/ & http://www.samcoglobal.com/
have surplus arms that are afordable. Now keep in mind all sales still require a transfer through a FFL dealer. It's not like you whip out the visa and you get a gun the next day......
