I would like to make my own cover sent for deer hunting, But if I use water it might spoil over time. The sent I like to make would be acorn or earth sent. something common around the mid west area.

Gather dead leaves or acorns or live pine needles from the area you hunt.
Boil for 10-15 minutes (make sure acorns are soft). Strain 'broth' from concoction.
Put :
2 cups of broth,
2 cups hydrogen peroxide,
1/2 cup baking soda, &
1 oz non scented shampoo or soap
in a clean 1/2 gallon jug.
Mix thoroughly.
Let stand for 1 week to 10 days.
Pour in a clean spray bottle.

i have done it with acorns before if it does spoil just make some more or keep it frozen until the night before or you could find a spruce or pine tree carry some in your pockets and rub it on your clothes or keep your clothes in a air tight bag with some in it just get creative but now i have scent-loc so it dont matter it's the best money i have ever spent.

good luck

You're not going to find any scientific evidence on this one, but I'm a firm believer in rowdy, gettin' it all over ya' kinda' lovin with the partner of your choice and using that alone as your cover scent. They don't come runnin' like your a doe in heat, but they do come in cautiously to see who's gettin' some! (It really works!)

i have never made a cover scent before but i have harvested urine out of a doe's bladder and used it in scrapes. someting else you might think about is vanilla. i know that vinilla sparks a whitetail attention. so thats a few things you could think of

Once you make your cover, where will you send it??

Do you mean 'scent,' perhaps? In that case yes, you can but I'm not sure how to do it.
