Outdoor Recreation - June 2006

The fishing has gone from bad to worse in the last 10 years because of the uncontrolling bullhead problem. I need to be able to the fish and romove a porton of the bullhead.

I myself don't look at fish on the same level as I do a deer for instance or a bear. I would rather catch and kill a bass than an elk. Does anyone else see it like this?

cannot WAIT til the season starts(i know, long way off)...been missin it since closing day last season... we use either a ( ) formation or a U ... depending on which spot we're hunting. I shoot a Benelli Super Black Eagle II, im always on the skeet and trap fields, i usually just keep my skeet choke in when we hunt impalments and more enclosed areas. Im in north carolina, we usually go to Great Lake, White Oak River, Upper Cape Fear (for woodducks) and a few other places off the OBX. Any suggestions on locations, decoy formations, prep for the season? Anyone lookin to go huntin in NC, let me know.

Also, we use flambeau magnums, any better luck with others?

I have heard that deer and wild game move according to the cycles of the moon. Hunting may be better during a full moon than at any other time. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this true? Does it really work?

I'm trying to look into fishing in the mission bay area, preferably close to the Bahia. I am hoping to be able to fish from the shore and have some fun catching some interesting fish, or any kind of fish, really I just want to drink beer and fishing goes very will with that. Its much better however if fish are actually being pulled in. So I guess I’d just like to know if there are any good spots to do this in the area and where they are. Suggestions on tackle would also be greatly appreciated, thanks.
